It features elegant braided epaulettes, satin lapels, and eye-catching square silver (nickel-plated) buttons. While three decorative buttons are displayed on each side of the front, these are not fastened. Additional buttons on the cuffs and back tails add to the jacket’s refined style.
 
When paired with a Cornish tartan kilt or trews, the Prince Charlie jacket looks particularly striking, enhancing the traditional yet distinctive look.
